So I finally talked DH into trying right away. We talked about the adoption thing and he's just not ready to even consider it, so I dropped the subject, but it lead to some good reasons why we should try agin right away and he agreed. Im 14 days past the m/c and I've been getting crazy temps. I have a rx for clomid for next cycle. So If it doesn't happen this time, I've got a plan for next month.We are trying right away, what would/did you do?

    I would wait at least one cycle, if your body is not fully healed from the first m/c the chances of another m/c are higher (or so I hear)...

    But to each her own and good luck to you!! =o)

    We're trying right away - esp now that we have my dx and a plan for the next bfp.  Now that I know why I keep losing my babies, and a way to hopefully fix it... I'm very gung-ho to get it on to make a baby - and FI is just happy he's finally getting some.

    All the research I could find on early m/c says that the only reason doctors suggest waiting one cycle is because it's harder to date a pregnancy without a LMP. If a doctor really thinks you need time to heal, they'll suggest 3-6 months with monitoring. I asked my doc about this and he agreed with what I found online. Plus, in my case it was such an early loss that there was no discernable fetal tissue or a placenta to damage the uterine lining ina  way that requires more than a couple days to stop bleeding.  I just want a child so bad. No more waiting!

    GL to you guys! That is great that you got on the same page with everything. We waited until I got my first AF to try again.

    I'm glad you guys are both on the same page and it sounds like DH is doing better.

    I think you are ok to try again this cycle. My 2nd m/c was 5-6 weeks and OB told me the same thing...that it was ok to try right away. GL, Mindy!

    02/08 BFP resulted in m/c 4/10/08 (11 weeks)
    10/08 Clomid Cycle #1 = m/c 11/7/08 (6 weeks)
    03/09 Clomid Cycle #2 = BFN
    3 rounds of Femara + Ovidrel + IUI =BFN
    10/18/09 2nd Break Cycle (post HSG) before IVF #1 = BFP!

    That's great news! Glad you guys talked and have a plan! As for trying, I don't see why not. If you're doc's OK with it, go for it!
