DS is getting 3 solid meals a day and nurses first thing in the morning, (usually) once between each meal and a couple times at night. So that's anywhere from 4(usually 5)-7 times in a 24 hour period. I feel like maybe he's not getting enough milk now that he's eating so much solids. I'm probably just overreacting, but I worry! How often are you nursing LO? TIA

Re: How often do you BF your 7 month old?
I think 7 months was around the time that DS only wanted to nurse at night. He still only nurses at night and once in a while before naps. He will usually nurse first thing in the morning as well.
That said, he still gets up 2-3 times a night so in all probably 4-5 times a day.
During the week she nurses in the morning, takes 3 6oz bottles while I'm at work, then she nurses about 1-2 more times in the evening. During the weekends, I nurse on demand but probably about 6-8 times.
ETA: Oh and she eats 2oz of solids in the afternoon, sometimes I give her another 2oz around dinner time if I feel like it.

he nurses (or takes a bottle, while at daycare) usually 6-7 times a day. early morning, three times at daycare, once or twice before bed, and usually once or twice during the night. we just started a third "meal" last week- he's still just eating purees, and a few cheerios here and there.
