Well found out that it wasn't a tubal pregnancy, but that there is bleeding around where the baby is and that the baby does not have enough fluid around it. So I had to quit nursing my 6 month old, to make sure the baby is getting all the fluid it can. Quiting b/f cold turkey is not pleasant, my boobs feel like bags of rocks....and hurt like someone stoned them with rocks! I want so bad for the LO to suck on them, but I can't! I can't even hold her because they hurt so bad.... Crying

have you tried to hand express or pump just a little to re-leave the pressure? It will make you feel so much better! I had to quit at 3 months for medical reasons and that helped me a ton!

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm sure it's very hard emotionally as well as physically to quite nursing our 6 month old cold turkey. Maybe try some cold compresses to relieve some pressure.

I feel your pain. I weened DD2 over 1.5 weeks (at 14 mo). I was in pain. Several times a day I would have to hand express just to maintain. If she had it her way, she would still be nursing though. I had to do it for me.
