How long can your DC wear a shoe size before out growing?

We bought K's sandals 2 months ago and she's already out grown them.  The lady at the store said on average kids feet grow .5 size/3 months. 

Just curious how long other kids are able to wear their shows before out growing.  I fear she has my massive feet and shoes will be an every couple months purchase.  Sad

DD 6/17/08, DD 6/9/10, DD 12/15/11
BFP 5/24/13 - Natural MC 6/7/13
BFP 8/13/13 - Natural MC 8/27/13
Ovarian Mass = removal of left ovary & tube 9/13
BFP 4/24/14 - Tubal Pregnancy 5/7/14
Removal of  ruptured right tube 5/8/14
IVF or adoption??

    We bought Lili's first real pair at ten months. She just outgrew them at fourteen months. She could actually still fit into them, but it wouldn't be comfortable.

    DS's first pair of shoes lasted four months.  His second pair lasted two.

    I think it depends on what side of the growth spurts you happen to get the shoes on!

    i bought 2 pairs of sz 4s last month and they were big on him. now they're starting to get a bit snug.

    Every time I go in to stride rite they tell me the shoes should make it 6 months (through 2 growth spurts).  I waited 5 months the first time and his feet were CRAMPED when I bought him a new pair.  I was more careful this time and brought him in at 4 months.  It probably just depends on the kid, like in everything else.  You know, the AVERAGE kid's foot should be able to wear the shoe for 6 months.  Some can go 8, so can't go 4!

    DD definitely has big feet, and they grow so fast!  We got her shoes when she turned a year old, and she outgrew them about a month ago.  She's now a size 5.5 and is wearing a 6 so she doesn't outgrow it too fast.

    My dd's worn the same pair for 6 months now. She'll need the next size up soon, though.

    Emmerson's feet grow at warp speed. I Swear. We were told the same thing though...that every 3 months she would go up 1/2 a size. She measured a 5 so we bought 5.5 and they're "big" but not out of control! And I don't see them lasting 3 months. Her first pair didn't.

    DD can still wear the shoes she was wearing at Christmas time.  She is also wearing the shoes she was wearing in May and I can only assume at this rate they may very well fit for our December vacation.

    We bought at size 5.5 in May to last all summer (he was measuring a 4.5). We remeasured around the middle of Julyand he measured a 6! So his foot grew 1.5 sizes in less than 3 months! So I bought him a size 7 for now and we'll see how long it lasts! We're only buying 1 pair of shoes per size for now!

    I bought E a pair of sneakers from Target in July and they don't fit anymore.  I bought a pair today from Once Upon a Child.  God love them!!! I save so much money shopping there.  I gota pair of cute brown sneaks for $3.50.

    15-20 minutes, tops.

    Joseph was in 5's at Memorial Day.

    I bought him size 8's last week. There is a tiny bit of room to grow in them. A very tiny bit.
