So since LO was about 2 months old, we have been having her sleep on a positioner and we would swaddle her. Two weeks ago she was having really bad night where she was waking up at 1,3,5 and just not consolable to go back to sleep. Well, two nights ago we took out the sleep positioner. She woke up around 1, I went in and just held her for 5 seconds and she was back asleep and I put her down and that was it. She woke up again at 4, but that is because she got her hands out of the swaddle. She only cried (I guess she was surprised her arms were out) for about 5-10 mins and then went to sleep and stayed asleep until 5:00! Last night, she woke up at 1am, I took her arms out of the swaddle...she went right back to sleep and slept untl 5:30!
I thought it was going to be a big production to take away the positioner and the swaddle but I guess she is more ready for it than I thought!!!
