Thank God, someone found my lost wallet in a parking lot today and called our home phone tonight. I'm supposed to meet him to retrieve it tomorrow. I never usually have more than 20 bucks on me, but I just went to the ATM and had $200 (which is why I was positively ill about it!). There was also an uncashed check. I am not sure whether these items are all still there, but hopefully so.
What, if any, reward would you offer?

Re: How much cash reward for a Good Samaritan?
Uh no. You are not meeting a random man with your wallet in a parking lot.
That is ridiculous. Ask him to turn it into your local police and leave his address so you can reward him if you like.
But bad bad bad bad bad idea.
Can your husband go instead?
No man. I'm just saying this because about 4 years ago I left my purse in a classroom at acollege I was attending. a WEEK later, after I'd replaced everything I owned, I got this bizarre heavy breathing 5 am phone call by this woman, who turned out to be a cleaner at the college, asking me to meet her son at 10 am in a parking lot that day.
Honestly, shivers ran up my spine. And no. I did not meet him. I did however, have Officer Awesome meet him, and charge him with theft. But he didn't have my purse. There was a policy about found items at the university for the cleaning staff so she was let go. Someone returned it the next day.
CREEEEEEEPY. So I"m just super careful you know?
