Any Advice Appreciated

We are starting our nursery this week-end so super excited. We have purchased the paint and all the supplies so ready to go. Have decided to paint the walls a warm beige/tan and paint the ceiling a much lighter shade of aqua that is in our bedding and want to stencil an airy vine like pattern on ceiling also (not all over,just around light fixture). Has anyone ever stenciled on ceiling? Any advice or tips? Thanks for any help.

    I have - I recommend getting painters tape and securely taping your stencil onto the ceiling before you start tracing it. If you try to hold it you wind up moving it and that never goes well.
