Prostate is one of the easier cancers to treat. It's always scary when you have a cancer dx, but this is one of the better ones to get.

Sorry to hear you're going through all this...
My dad was also dx with prostate cancer this year. It was aggressive and advanced, but he got the surgery and is doing quite well now. I know I wasn't particularly reassured by others' stories when we were going through his initial dx, so I know there's not much that can be said to make you feel better...but my thoughts are with you and your family.

I'm so sorry, Autumn.
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a little over a year ago. They scheduled a routine surgery and removed it all. A year later he is as healthy as can be. When he was diagnosed I did some research and I think the information I found said that there's a 90% success rate with that type of cancer.
