Gross post: Burping and vomit

totally gross but is anyone else burping up vomit, not actual vomit that is in your mouth but the taste of it? it makes me dry heave, I have not actually vomited yet but this has been going on for a few days now and its disgusting! Would tums help me here or am I just SOL?

I had this before I knew I was pregnant and DH used to make fun of me. ?When we found out I was pregnant he then felt bad. ?I can't help on what to take b/c I didn't take anything. ?Just wanted to let you know this happens.

Jenni, it sounds to me like you might be having acid reflux, and tums should help a little, but if it gets really bad you may need to take something stronger. If I were you, I'd bring this up at your next OB appointment, sooner if it worsens or tums don't help. Having acid come back up into your esophagus repeatedly is not good for the tissues in your throat, and can lead to other things, besides dry heaves for sensitive mommas.
