Don't know if you remember me or not, but I was with you on the 6-12 and 12-24 mo boards.
I just wanted to say how very upset I am to hear this tragic news, and my heart is breaking for you right now. I am sitting here in tears, and feel so bad for what you and your family have gone through, and for the loss of little Avery.

I opened this post this morning at home and just couldn't find the words to say through the tears. I still don't know what to say to help ease your pain, but just know that we are all praying for you, your family, and your sweet angel. I cannot imagine the heartbreak and pain you are going through, and I am so sorry for your loss. May Avery rest in peace, and God bless your family.

Kate: I don't post much but wanted to respond to you because I lost a baby in early 2007. She was just 2 months old. If anyone told me at the time that I would heal, I would have told them they were crazy. I want to share a couple of things that helped me, I know everyone grieves differently, but if nothing else I hope my message lets you know that you are not alone in your loss. I went to M.E.N.D meetings (www.mend.org). I made a mix cd of songs that reminded me of my baby, which was also played at her memorial service. I would love to send you a copy of my cd, it might seem weird to some, but I listen to it a lot. I keep a journal and I write to her every once in a while. I am so very sorry for your loss. There is nothing more difficult for a family to endure. The pp made me think of an organization that helped my family many years ago- The Compassionate Friends. There are many local chapters and it may be worth looking into. I don't know you personally, and don't post very often on these boards, but I have been praying for you and your family every night with my DS. I hope that in time, God will heal your hurt.
