Weird Dreams???

I had the strangest dream last night. I dreamt that I had our LO, but it was so small and I kept losing it! Then all of a sudden I was at the MAC counter at Macy's looking for the baby and they said they hadn't seen it so they gave me some free make-up and brushes bc they felt bad for me.... Then I woke up.

Has anyone else been having crazy dreams?

  • yes, very vivid dreams! it's one of the first clues that i had that i might be pg.  usually, i can never remember my dreams...but i have a crazy dream amost every night.
  • Last night I had a dream that I told my mom we were expecting and she said "oh, honey, we all know, You're huge, you're totally showing." And I was so upset and kept protesting that I just got pregnant so all she was doing was calling me fat!
  • In my dream last night, I was at my NT scan (which I haven't had yet) and they were putting needles through my eyelids to hold my eyes shut, b/c they said that I could not see what was happening while they did the u/s. Then afterward they gave us pics from "inside" and they were almost like regular digital pictures and the baby's face looked just like my DD's face now, ha. And they told me it was a girl.
  • YES!!! Crazy dreams for the last several weeks.

  • Last night I kept waking up in the middle of the night. I don't remember what I was dreaming about but I know I woke up scared I'd forgotten something. The first time it happened I just got up and walked around the house thinking of anything I might have actually forgotten. The second time I just sat up in bed for a little bit. The third time I started getting annoyed, it only happened 2 more times after that. Then just before I woke up this morning I was dreaming that I was way past my due date (by months) and the doctor didn't want to induce labor for whatever reason and I woke up just after grabbing the doctors coat about to scream at him.
  • I've been having weird ones, but they have nothing to do with pregnancy or babies.

My personal favorite was the one where, to congratulate me for being such a great math professor (which is nowhere near my profession!), Bill Clinton gave me free tickets to a Don Henley concert. Random!

The other night, I had a dream that I was in a pro-am figure skating competition, all choreographed to Jimmy Buffet music. I was reading a book the night before that mentioned Jimmy Buffet, but I have no idea where the figure skating came from! I was really good though. ;)

  • I had a dream that I wrote a sci/fi mystery novel and that it actually came true and there was a creature that was out to get people I know, but are in no way friends with. It was very strange. I keep dreaming weird dreams but that was def. the weirdest.
  • my dreams are crazy too.  i keep dreaming about my x from college!  all the time!  its so wierd.

  • I've had very odd dreams for a few weeks now but not one has a child in it... I an expecting to see a baby and haven't yet!
  • I too have had the most crazy - but wonderful - vivid dreams.  Before getting pregnant, I could never remember my dreams - ever!  Now, I'm remembering them often.  I love it.
  • Having very vivid, memorable dreams was actually one of my first hints at "Huh...I wonder if I'm pregnant...". As I entered the second tri, though, I've noticed over the past couple days that they haven't been happening as consistently. My body must be getting used to the all the new and elevated hormones, thank goodness, haha!
  • LOL! Yep, every night!
