Heightened sense of smell

in 1st Trimester

has for sure kicked in. On Sunday night, DH was in the kitchen and I was downstairs. I asked him if he was eating cereal because I could smell "cereal milk".

Then today, I was driving down Route 1 and I could smell grass being cut - I looked and it was being cut on the other side of the highway (and its a wide highway in some areas).

    My husband was drinking a beer the other night.  I could smell it from a mile away and I hate the smell of beer.

    Where i work , there is an apartment two levels above the office.. I swore i smelled Sugar cookies being baked.. an hour later the lady comes in and offers us some... smell is amazingly powerful when your pregnant. Just beware of the nasty smells that make you gag!

    My DH made eggs the other night and I had to stay upstairs for 2 hours because the smell was sooo strong...and awful.?

    I definitely have this, too, and my DH keeps laughing at me. It's even stranger because this pregnancy has made me SO congested, you'd think I wouldn't be able to smell anything.

    For 2 days everything to me seemed to smell like dirty water, like old mop water. I went freakish and washed everything.

    I have this, too! Just last night I said to DH, "I feel like I have a super power, I wish I could use it for something!"

    His cologne was making me nauseous yesterday, and last night I was writing, and could smell the lead of the pencil like I had it up my nose or something. Blech.

    I swore my house smelled like a foot when I got home Sunday evening. My DH couldn't smell a thing...I ended up cleaning that night just in case it did.

    Yes! I'm like a Bloodhound these days. I've been picking up on so many smells and everyone around me doesn't smell a thing.
