Success after IF

Newish BFP but not so many symptoms

I think I am just looking for some reassurance...I got my BFP last weekend and had betas done last Mon & Wed. U/S is 9/8 at 6w5day. The thing is...the nausea I had before my BFP along with the lower back pain is gone. The only symptoms I get regularly are heartburn, slightly sore bbs, slightly more veiny bbs and I go to bed early. Sometimes I feel bloated. I do take progestrone suppositories so some of the s/e could be from that, right?

Is it normal for some women to start out like this and have a successful pregnancy? I am so nervous and can't believe I have to wait a whole week before the U/S.

Re: Newish BFP but not so many symptoms

  • Just try and hang in there - I didn't have any symptoms until maybe 20 weeks or so. Well into the 2nd tri. And it's really only been within the past few weeks that I've "felt" pregnant.

  • It is normal for symptoms to come and go, the only consistent symptom I had was exhaustion.  FWIW I had 1 week of Morning Sickness at 9 weeks and nothing else as far as symptoms go.

No sore breasts, no constant hunger or nausea nothing.......

  • My symptoms didn't hit until much later with my DD, closer to 6 weeks for the m/s, 8 weeks for everything else.

  • I didn't have many symptoms in the beginning.  The only thing I had was cramps, which made me nervous I was going to m/c.  DD was born 9 months later and is very healthy.
  • My only symptom was exhaustion and that didn't hit until about week 10 or so. Many people don't get anything until 6-8 weeks if at all. Hang in there, it is hard but you are doing great!

  • It is normal. Just hang in there as much as you can. Weeks 4-8 were the absolute hardest for me. My mantra to keep myself sane was : I have no reason to believe there is anything wrong.

    Good luck!!!

  • I feel your pain! I'm in your same boat.......I just keep telling myself that there is no reason to think that anything is wrong, y'know?

    Good luck!

  • I had all the same symptoms and attributed it to the progesterone suppositories. I didn't even know I was PG till the beta test came back positive.
