Ok - weird.

I have a FB friend who is apparently addicted to the mobile upload feature.  She takes pictures of EVERYTHING and uploads them to her 'wall photos'. 

Yesterday, she took several pictures of herself laying in bed reading with her cat.

Today, she's apparently driving from San Antonio to DFW (a 5 hour drive) and is taking pictures of all the landmarks she passes.  Oh, and a picture of herself driving doing a 'peace' sign. 

Not only is this incredibly annoying (this coming from an avid AW herself), it's also crazy unsafe.  Lets take pictures of the UT Tower and post them to FB on your mobile phone while driving 70 MPH.  Idiot.

    Agree.  One of my FB friends constantly takes mobile pictures of HERSELF and has a whole folder dedicated to it.  The entire folder is her making weird faces that teenagers do and taking a picture with her phone.  To me this is strange as well.

    Annoying. I have a FB friend who is constantly posting self-taken photos of herself on her wall. I mean, she posts about 3 or 4 per day. You'd think she was 16 but she's 31!

    That's really annoying...

    You can "hide" her updates so it doesn't take over your home screen. If that would help!

    First of all, your friend sounds like she needs to get over herself.  Secondly, she's going to kill someone doing that stupid crap.  You should call her and tell her to put down the damn phone and put her hands on the wheel!

    If it's any consultation I doubt she was going 70 mph downtown Austin. I live here and can count the number of times I have been able to go that fast down there because of traffic. :-) Depending on if it was during lunch hour she may have barely been going 20 mph.

    i know people that do this....with their kids in the car no less.

    (is also glad this FB weirdness is not about me :) lol though i am sure you could make a few comments on my status updates)
