Where is AF? : (

Hey everyone, just a quick question...

I m/c going on 7 weeks ago. I did it naturally and my numbers returned to 0 within a week. I have no idea how far along I really was, my doctor was saying I should have been 6-7 weeks but measured at about 4-5. My concern is that it's been 7 weeks (on Tuesday) since the m/c and still no AF. My cycles usually go about 36 days. I do have PCOS and Hypo. but since treatment my cycles have been fairly regular, and I am ovulating normally. 

I took a hpt because I was terrified that I was pg again (I am really scared of going through that again- I never thought I would be scared to get pregnant) anywho, it came back negative. We have been using condoms, so I doubted it anyways. 

Is this normal? I haven't been able to get back to my gyno again--still waiting for the referral to go through. But, the doctor I saw on base here is a bit concerned. Can anyone share any insight? I greatly appreciate it Confused

    I'm very sorry for your loss.  I think being pg can change things with your body and your cycle, so going off of what you were like before is probably not going to help.  I think anywhere up to 8-12 weeks post loss is normal for af to come.  If it goes longer than 12 there could be cause for concern.  After my first loss, a natural m/c at 5 1/2 weeks, I got af 28 days later.  This last loss though, it took 8w2d.  Hopefully you can get into see your ob soon if nothing more than to ease your mind.  GL!

    It will take it's time if it wants to. I waited 10 weeks for mine. *hug* Good luck!

    I bet your AF is hanging out with mine.  They are playing a mean game of hide and seek!

    My situation sounds very similar to yours...natural m/c at about 7wks (though no PCOS) I waited 12w3d for mine to show up, but it did!

    I know its tough to wait. I gave myself a deadline of 16 wks, and decided to see the dr if AF didn't come by then. That helped me have a little more patience.

    Seriously, AF needs to stop hiding!

    Anyhow, I think I will set a deadline for myself as well. If I don't get it in the next 4 weeks, I'm gonna call my Dr. and get in to see her.
