I'm on CD10 today, took 50 mg of Clomid from CD3-7. Today at my u/s I had a 22.5mm follie and an 18.5mm follie, but my lining was 4.9.
Last month I was on 100mg of Clomid, had 3-4 mature follies, but my lining the day before trigger was 6. We did TI but it didn't work. The RE decreased the dose of Clomid this month in hopes that it would allow my lining to thicken more, but that obviously didn't work either.
RE said it's good news that I'm responding, but that Clomid just isn't the right drug for me and this is more of a nuisance than something to worry about. He suggested I set up a consult to discuss moving onto injectibles.
We were going to do an IUI this month but the RE thinks it's not even worth it with my lining being so thin.
I am obviously not happy that this month is a bust, but I do feel good about the moment about moving onto injectibles. We'll see how DH feels.

Re: This Cycle Probably A Bust (Clomid Vent)
That is annoying - I was also going to suggest femara. I am responding weirdly to clomid too, and I think we are going to switch to that next month if this cycle is a bust.
I did ask about Femera - he just said that it also can thin lining sometimes, often you only develop one follie, and since I'm unexplained he thinks injectibles are the right move - he has more success with them.

I, like you, had problems with clomid and overstimming, and thining of lining. My RE has also said that injects were better for me since I am unexplained as well.
Sorry this cycle is a bust, and hopefully on injects, you'll get a BFP! I'm starting injects next cycle too.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
i want to say hang in there because my first cycle I had 2 mature follies and was told more than once that my lining was 4.4 - I got pg with twins...
I later found out the notes said my lining was 6 mm on that cycle - still thin though....
I also know happytracy got pg the same wk as me with a thin lining and has a gorgeous little girl...
that said, femara doesn't really help my lining either and I will probably be onto injectibles next month <sigh>
I'm sorry
