While it may be nothing, listen to your body. Call the nurse at your doctor's office. They may tell you to just take it easy and watch for additional symptoms. Or, they may want to see you.
I had light spotting and mild cramping with my last pregnancy around 12 weeks. Fortunately it was nothing. I can relate to you being scared.
Please keep us posted! Good luck!
**sorry, just saw that you did call the office. I'm so glad you did!**
Shannon - you are right at the point where I had spotting/cramping too (12w/5d). All was fine. I've had spotting a couple other times throughout the pregnancy and baby girl is okay. It's scary and frustrating, but it can happen and not mean anything is wrong. I've been put on "pelvic rest" a couple times - last time they checked to make sure I didn't have an infection (which I didn't). It seems I'm just one of those women that has an extrememly vascular cervix.

Hope everything went well with the ultrasound. Sometimes cramping is caused by being dehydrated. Make sure you are drinking tons of fluids all the time....

Aw Shannon.. that sucks! You may just be one of "those women" who bleeds and spots throughout. Let's hope not, but it does happen.
