Poll: How Long Have You Been TTC/What's Your Diagnosis

A)  How long have you been TTC?  Me:  Off BCP 5/08, started TTC 8/08. 

B) What's your dx?  Unexplained - see siggy.

**(I know there was a post the other day about what's your diagnosis, but I thought I'd add the how long have you been TTC portion to it)**

TTC in 2008. Stage II/III endo, Hashimotos hypothyroid, low morph (3%).
2 cycles Clomid/Ovidrel/TI/Crinone=BFN.
IUI #1 - 4 Follistim/Ovidrel/IUI/Crinone = BFN.
IVF #1 - Antagonist w/ ICSI 4/10. 17 retrieved, 5DT of 2, BFN :(
IVF #2 - Long Lupron w/ ICSI 6/10. 15 retrieved, 3DT of 2, BFFN!!
Lap 7/21/10
IVF #3 - Clomid/Antagonist w/ ICSI 10/10. 14 retreived, 3DT of 3, BFP 10/20 but m/c. No HB 11/15/10 - D&C 11/17/10.
FET - 2 blasts, 1 survived the thaw. Transfer 2/19. Beta #1 3/1 375, Beta #2 3/3 885, Beta #3 3/8 4261, Beta #4 3/11 9005. U/S 3/8 1 sac 1 yolk, U/S 3/16 1 heartbeat 114bpm!

 

James born Oct. 24th 2011 via c-section at 38 weeks!

    1.  Off bcp 11/08.  TTC since 1/09, but on cycle 11.  My cycles are really short.

    2.  Diagnosis: So far looks like MFI--low morphology and borderline motility.  All of my tests have come back ok, but I am 38 so my age is probably not helping anything.

    A)  How long have you been TTC?  Me:  Off BCP 2/09, started TTC 6/09. 

    B) What's your dx?  PCOS - never got AF after 2/09. Started Met a week and 1/2 ago and Provera last Friday

    A)  We've been TTC for a year.  (I was never on BC, so my body never had to 'regulate' itself or anything...we just jumped right in!)

    B)  Don't know yet.  When I went for my annual exam in May and told my OB we'd been trying with no results yet, she wrote DH a script for an SA just in case we wanted to get it done over the summer while I'm off work so that if any follow-up was needed we could get it done before the school year started.  I'm very thankful for that.  His results came back abnormal with regards to liquefaction time and viscosity, so my OB told us to set up a consult with the RE.  Since then, I've had b/w done and found my thyroid levels a little high, HSG all good, and DH is going back for a 2nd SA Monday.  Hopefully we'll know more info soon!

    DX: High FSH/DOR
    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
    Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
    1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    1.   TTC since November 2007.    So it'll be 2 years this fall (so basically we'll hit the 2 year mark if this IVF cycle doesn't work.)   sucky.  

    2.   Moderate MFI (low count)

    Brought to you by IVF, ICSI, limited fert, and oocyte cryopreservation.

    1.  Trying for about 20 months.

    2.  Diagnosed with PCOS, but not 100% sure that's true.  Normal cycles, but my right tube is blocked.  DH-borderline normal, morph and motility fine, but count only at 21 million.   Basically who the heck knows!!

    TTC #1 since 12/07 SA 9/08=borderline normal HSG 1/09 found R tube blocked Multiple IUIs both with oral and injectible drugs from 2/09-2/11 Started domestic adoption process in 5/10, homestudy complete 9/10 Failed adoption after home with baby for 2 weeks 11/10 Blessed through the miracle of private adoption with a son, born 6/6/11 (his grandma's bday) 7lbs 9oz 20.5 inches long! So worth the wait!

    1. 4 years since we stopped preventing, 2 years with fertility meds (clomid or femera)

    2. PCOS

    A)  How long have you been TTC?  2 years in November 

    B) What's your dx?  haven't been officially diagnosed but I have a short luteal phase and low progesterone

    I've been TTC since Feb 09- came off of bcp, no AF... blood work in May low estrogen/normal to low fsh

    Diagnosis-  Hypothalamic Amenorrhea... currently cutting down on exercise/gaining weight, -starting birth control to get a bleed and then trying an extended clomid protocol- 50 mg for 5 days and then 100 mg for another 5 days and crossing my fingers!

    2 identical boys and a girl born 33 weeks 5 days on March 25th, 2011.. we couldn't be more in love :)image

    TTC: since April 2008

    Dx: PCOS in March 2007 - although I have been regular most of my life and was regular for a time after the dx so I don't know. We got pg once and carried until 4 months. After that, even though I ovulate on meds (and sometimes without), I have lost weight and DH's SA is still great, we have not been able to conceive. I am starting to worry that something else is wrong....

    Off BCP since March 07.  Actively TTC since July 07, so I guess that's 2 years, one month officially TTC.

    Crap.

    Oh, and I'm annovulatory, non-PCOS insulin resistant with a uterine septum.

    TTC#1 since Aug '05, CP: 10/05, 8/12; BO: 1/13;
    IUI #8: BFP, beta 1, 6/4/13: 267, beta 2, 6/6/13: 765; First US 6/18/13-Twins!!!
    Due February 13, 2014 with two BOYS! 
    Henry Leo, 4# 13oz, 18.75 inches and Samuel Thomas, 6#, 18.5 inches arrived via c-section January 30th!

    A)  How long have you been TTC?  I have been off the pill since 12/07, we have been trying since 1/08, so... 19 months? Yuck.

     

    B)What's your dx?  We were unexplained, but with further testing throughout our IUI's, it looks like MFI - low motility and borderline morphology.

    TTC: off depo provera 12/07, TTC since 10/08

    Dx: still diagnosing, but probable endometriosis

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    Off bcp and started ttc 9/08

    PCOS - had long cycles after bcp which seem to have disappeared since my D&C. Started metformin 3 months ago and trying clomid for the first time this cycle.

    A)  How long have you been TTC?  Off BCP March 2008 - cycle 17  

    B) What's your dx? Unexplained but I have Hypothyroidism and old eggs (AKA pretty high FSH).  RE thinks our problems is my old eggs.

    We have been trying since June 2008.

    My dx is: PCOS, high insulin, borderline high FSH, uterine mass (that I just had removed today), continuous (non-PCOS related) ovarian cysts. And my DH has low morph and just had vericocele repair surgery this week.

    A)  How long have you been TTC?  Since 2005; September will make it 4 years...ugh!

    B) What's your dx?  Endo.  With seven losses under my belt, I suspect there is something else going on; I've had every test under the sun done, which has revealed nothing.  I'm 36 now, so I'm also AMA and my FSH is getting higher.

    TTC #1 w/ endo since Sept 2005. After many losses, a lap, tons of meds and tons of testing and, one failed IVF cycle, we were blown away with a surprise, sticky BFP...it's a girl!!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    B) What's your dx? Me: PCOS -- DH: low SC

    TTC 7+ years - 3 failed IUI's; not going the IVF route; stopped treatment December 2013.

    Became licensed for Foster Care: March 2011
    Adoption Finalized: December 2013

    I'm surprised to see so many people unexplained.  That must be so hard not to know what is really going on... 

    My info -

    a) Off BCP 10/07, started TTC 8/08

    b) Somewhat high FSH for my age, lower antral follicle count, lower AMH. DH has morphology and DNA fragmentation issues.

    TTC with DOR, low morphology, fertilization issues
    IVF#1 Oct 2009 (CCRM) - BFN
    IVF#2 March 2010 - Poor response/cancelled
    DE IVF#1 Aug 2010 - BFN
    DE IVF#2 Dec 2010 - Transferred 1, 2 frozen - BFP!
    TTC#2 FET Jan 2013 - Transferred 1 - BFP!

    A. Off the pill 1/07- surprise BFP that month- miscarriage at 7 weeks- been trying since then. 3 Failed IUI's, IVF #1 BFN, IVF #2 c/p, IVF #3- coming fall/winter 2009.

    B. Sperm issues- low morph, low motility
