if you use powder foundation..

how in the hell do you keep it from not getting everywhere?

when i use it, it always ends up all over the sink, sometimes the counter....what am i doing wrong? it's like a constant battle...because if i go to just try to wash it out of the sink, it just rubs into the sink and leaves it all foundation colored...then i have to go get my everyday cleaner spray and scrub it. wth am i doing wrong? lol

  • This is pretty standard :(

One thing I wold suggest is maybe not loading your brush up as much - tap off A LOT into the lid or a little dish before applying. You can always apply a little more in stages if necessary. Also, maybe lay a washcloth in the sink before you start - it will catch a lot of the rogue powder, and once you're done, you can fold it up and then use the "back" side to scrub out the sink with a little water.

  • I have the same issue.  I end up cleaning the entire vanity everyday before work.  Ugh.

  • I usually don't have this problem, unless I overload my brush. I usually just tap and swirl so that a fairly small amount is on the brush. You can always apply more if you need to.
  • thanks guys! i think part of it is that after i tap/shake it in the lid, i always blow it off...i find it i don't, it goes on too thick. i like the washcloth in the sick idea, though..i'll have to try that! thanks...i get so sick of cleaning it everyday, lol
