First in '10 Thursday Check In
Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing well... I saw some postings about a January mommies exchange yesterday. I think that Abba619 is heading it up. I haven't seen a link to elfster, but I know that she was asking people to email her if you are interested.
Good luck with appointments today! New Team Pink additions are; babyemily, S/cambio, bcbscorp, stonsfel, and Meg&JK. New Team Blue additions are Mrs.Keith2b, and smaher. Congrats mamas! The teams are pretty even right now with 42 pinks and 43 blues!

Me: You know, I was always told that pregnant women get more of a sex drive but I have found with both of my pregnancies that I am NOT one of those mamas! Ah well, at least it is good when we do have it.

QOTD: as much as I was told that it gets better in the 2nd tri, it's only gotten a little bit better.
We average about 3x / week which I think is pretty good.

I have def had more of a sex drive this time! Not so much w/ my 1st though.

QOTD: The sex life has been kind of non existant.. more due to stress then pregnancy. That and the motion brings up wonderful nausea! LOL
My sex drive is fine. But trying to get comfortable having sex is another issue! lol

QOTD: I would have to say that the last few weeks have been a huge improvement to the first 18 when I was throwing up nonstop. Now that I am feeling better DH and I are apparently wanting to make up for lost time. haha. Although we also recently had his brother and wife move out (finally) and so having the house to ourselves again has made us feel like newlyweds so we've been going at it pretty much every night. I'm sure things will taper off again once the novelty wears off and we'll get back to our average 3x a week.
QOTD: Mine comes and goes. Some weeks we have sex almost every day. Other weeks, it's only once or twice.
By the way, I'm new to the group. I'm due January 17th. We find out on Monday whether we are Team Pink or Team Blue.
My big u/s is at this time tomorrow! Can't wait!
QOTD: Our sex life is also non-existant. I have no desire at all, the two times we've had sex it was very painful. So I just take care of DH every once in awhile so he can release the pressure!

My sex drive is same as before... but the sex is def better... when I'm not too tired for it.
QOTD: No drive. Too much pelvic pain these days. Doc said to refrain for the next few weeks while we keep an eye on my anterior placenta (she said we don't want to aggravate my cervix for now).
On another note, I think it's exciting that our teams are so close together!!

QOTD: Ha. Not fabulous. Pre-pregnancy I'd say we averaged 2-3 times/week and now it's more like once/week at best. Oh well.
We avrg. about 2x a week...we've just got back from vacay which was daily..
Its fun to try and find a "comfortable" position...
about the exchange- I did get the link up this morning and I will re post it..for the ladies who didnt see it...I should have the poll up by tonight/ tomorrow morning at the latest..

I do not really have must of a sex drive these days.
Poor DH! We probably average once every two weeks or so.
Wow, now that I have typed that out... POOR DH! I should just suck it up and initiate more often.

It's definitely improved over 1st tri. But we're still lucky to have sex once a week. Hopefully my sex drive will kick back up some more now that we aren't busy every night of the week.

QOTD: My drive is about the same as it was pre-pregnancy, but we have had some bleeding issues so not too much action lately.
Though I enjoy it when it happens, I'm not driven to initiate it. Good thing we all have understanding DH's....

We are having a BOY!
Ours is pretty much the same- we have usually been a pretty active couple in the bedroom- avg at least 3x a week- I will say that orgasm is a lot easier/faster to achieve these days
