Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Cram your Baby Wise up your .....

..... you know what! (this is towards someone who was trying to scold me)

I'm NOT knocking the book .... as I have not read it .... am I simply saying that a certain someone I know should sit on it because they said I was bad for letting DD CIO in the car Indifferent

I asked wtf am I suppose to do for her while driving?

Re: Cram your Baby Wise up your .....

  • That is ridiculous.  I let DD CIO in the car too.  There are no other options when you are on a freeway with no other adult in the car.
  • Loading the player...
  • I think they commented cuz I said it was a 30 min car ride and she cried the whole way ......
  • I also let DS CIO in the car.  I give him 15 min.  If he's still crying after 15 I'll pull over.  So far I haven't had to pull over.
  • oh yeah I read your post about holding bottles and I help raise my niece and nephew and we got them to hold their bottles at about 6 months but not with their hands. We put them in their carseat or swing and they would put their legs in the air and v their feet to hold it. They caught on to that really fast. Just thought I would throw that out there.

    this
  • Someone yelled at you for letting DD CIO in the car?!  DS hates his carseat and screams in it almost all the time when he's awake.  Pulling over would do me no good because what would I do then?  Take him out?  As soon as I put him back he'd be screaming again...

This for sure! I always feel even worse taking her out just to put her back in!!

  • Ok, now I'm curious.  Which post are you referencing?
  • it wasn't a post on here ... someone IRL that I KNOW is a lurker on here lol
  • CIO at home is a completely different story than the car. People need to get over themselves.
