Baptism help

We are getting Allie baptised on 9/13 at the IL's church.  Then we are having a little gathering at their house.  I want to get a cake for the celebration... what do I get written on it?  And what else do I need to do?  The IL's are taking care of all the food.

    So I'm no help and i have no idea what Andy's cake said. I think it just had a cross on it and his name. We didn't buy it.

    And it sound like all you have to do is show up! Are you buying the gown and other items? Really don't need much.

    I've seen cakes that say God Bless <insert baby's name> with a picture of a cross.

    We had "God Bless Allison Rose" on our Allie's cake. 

    Did you submit the paperwork to the church?  Did you get her gown, shoes, etc.?

    I usually see God Bless Allie or God Bless Allie on her Christening Day or something like that..

    What else to do.. get her an outfit, make sure you have godparents in order with any paper work you might need for that, get something for you to wear.. invite anyone you want to invite..

    We are having Hattie's the 5th and on her cake we are putting "Heaven Sent" and her name.

    I honestly don't remember what Max's cake said!  That's great that your IL's are helping you!  Mine sat around the night before (they stayed at our house) and watched me run around like a maniac and never offered to help!

    We had cookies and cupcakes for DD's dedication, so no help there!

    Are you doing invitations?  I also framed a few pictures of DD to display on the table with all the food, along with bunches of tulips (it was March).
