QOTD: Now that the BIG U/S is around the corner for the early Feb Mommies...do you find yourself having a preference for gender? And for those that are Team Green, do you have any preference at this point? I do realize we all just want healthy babies and will love them 100% regardless, but I do know sometimes we picture ourselves with a baby of a certain gender. Discuss!
I honestly felt like I did NOT care either way what I had this time bc I got my girl the first time. When I was pregnant with DD, I wanted a girl so bad! This time, I felt like I would be happy either way. However, about a week before our gender determination U/S, I secretly started hoping it was a boy, just so I could experience both, since this is our last baby. But inside, I KNEW it was a girl and I was totally not shocked at all when we found out. I know we were meant to have 2 girls, this is how I always pictured my family to be. So I am thrilled and can't wait to meet my baby girl!
Re: February Love Bugs ? Thursday Check-in
My big u/s is 2 weeks from today. I still think I don't care either way but I've had a feeling I'm having a boy this whole time. The more and more I've thought I've been having a boy, I realize that's what I want so we'll see what the results are on Sept. 10th!
Also, how do I get the Feb. lovebugs badge? thanks.
Hi girls!!
We're on Team Green! We honestly have no preference. If it's a boy, I'll be excited because it would be nice to have the elder child be a boy (I'm traditional like that), but if it's a girl, I'll be excited because I've always dreamt of having a little girl! I'll be sooo happy either way!

I want a boy so bad I can't stand it!! DH already has 2 girls, and I know they aren't mine, but I feel like I have experienced what it's like to have a girl...and it would make me so happy to finally give him a boy. I will be happy if it's a girl too, but would be super-duper happy if it's a boy!!! I can't wait to find out! We go on Sept. 22nd to find out, Dr said she wouldn't even try til then
I did that when I was pregnant with DD...I wanted a girl so bad that I convinced myself it was a boy just so I wouldn't be disappointed. But it was a GIRL! And I was thrilled, even though I had accepted the boy possibility. I had NO morning sickness with her and everyone thought it was a boy. I also grew up with a sister and she now has 2 girls...so it seems like that is just the way my family works, lol.
I always just assumed we'd have a boy, because it seems like DH family just has boys. But lately I've been getting this warm fuzzy feeling thinking about a little baby girl. I guess we'll see!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
Bloggity Blog - You know you want to...
I do not care either way right now. But that might change as we get closer. I am currently convinced we are having a boy. DH and I would like to have a boy and a girl. So I am excited to find out, but I have to wait for the end of Sept.

We're Team Green. I keep dreaming that I give birth to a boy. Or a cat... but that's a different story. I could go either way. I'm not very girly so it would be neat to have another girl in the house. At the same time, I think little boy stuff is absolutely adorable.
Hi everyone -
I honestly do not care if I am having a boy or a girl. There was a time when I really wanted a little girl.. but when I became pregnant all that changed. I have a strong feeling that I am carrying a precious little boy. Whether boy or girl I will be happy either way. No longer any preferences here (surprisingly)
QOTD: I would love to have a little girl to help counter all the testosterone in this house. DH & I are planning on having 2, so if this is a boy, hopefully the next is a girl. Of course, his family would prefer a boy since there aren't any boys of that generation to carry on the family name
I should add that at our 12wk u/s the tech was fairly certain she saw penis & testicles, but we're not counting on that until the 20wk u/s.

We were told boy at the NT Scan and will hopefully confirm this at our big U/S. We have always wanted a boy first and then we will try for a girl in a few years. So far the plan is good!
I always love the drama of this question! Wouldn't we all love and accept our babies no matter what? Sure we have preferences...for gender, for health. I just think it's funny how this question always has to be couched.
I don't really care. I want to know, but I don't care (and I'm prepared not to know, with my daughter, they never could tell). DH wants a boy though because he thought it was cool that he was an older brother to a younger sister. 3 more weeks until the big U/S.
I think subconciously that I have done that too. I have always wanted a girl! I am so girly so would love to have a daughter. But the entire time I have felt like it was a boy-but I can't help but wonder if its my mind's way of preparing me ahead of time if it is a boy. Actually, I have had several boy dreams, had another just last night, and all I can picture anymore is a boy. It's working tho, I am now excited at the thought of a boy, DH wants one too. So I'll be happy now either way!
I would really love to have a boy. I grew up in a house of boys, and was always more comfortable hanging out with boys growing up. Boys crack me up.
That said, I tell people that I've got a win-win situation here, because what girl wouldn't love having a girl?
I can't wait to find out.....
Hello all!
My name is Chari. This is my first baby and I am due on Feb. 21st, 2010. I am scared as you know what but working towards being a happy mother. God be with me!
I actually want a little girl! But really just a healthy child would be a blessing to me.
Many blessings.
I have had a feeling for a while that this is going to be a boy but I'm equally excited about the possibility of it being a girl. I know DH would prefer a boy so that there can be an older brother for our future daughters but if it's a girl, she's totally going to have him wrapped around her finger!
Guess we'll find out in February!
...Baby Blog...CD Blog...
We've both wanted a boy from the beginning but I never had an inkling one way or the other until I got the U/S. As soon as I saw the baby I just had this overwhelming feeling it's a boy. We have to wait 5 whole weeks to find out for sure. I don't know if I can stand the wait!
I really want a girl. I hate saying that, because obviously we will be happy with a healthy baby no matter what the gender. DH wants a boy.
Big U/S in 3 weeks!
I don't really have a preference but I think we're having a boy. I think that would be great especially because there is no one else on DH"s side to "carry on" the name. But I'd love a little girl too!
We find out in 12 days!
I don't really care either way, but in the long run I would kind of like to have one of each. So I'm guessing with baby 2 I'll have more of a preference.
So far I think it's a girl. Don't ask me why.
I am so excited to find out what it will be. I have no preference, but at times I would prefer a boy. I teach Kindergarten and always seem to get attached to the little boys. The girls are on the bratty side, but honestly, either would be perfect!
