She has her info messed up a bit.

It's just a glucose screen for those who already have GD risk factors and doesn't diagnose GD. I highly doubt that her oh-so-knowledgeable friend "has" GD at 16 weeks. More likely, she shows a likelihood to fail the 3hr test at 28 weeks.
