How much does a HSG cost OOP?

I need to be prepared. How much does an HSG cost? Our RE won't let us move forward until I have one.

    I think it depends on where you have it done.  I have seen some people say $800 and some say $1500.  My insurance ended up paying about $1200 for mine.

    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    I don't know that this will help, but I called my insurance company and they told me that custom and reasonable in my area is $150.  I don't think that included all the codes that I would be billed for though.  Personally, your best bet is to call billing at your local hospital and ask them.  Also, from what I've been told if you tell them you are paying cash then you should get a discount of sorts.

    The price on the bill I recieved was around $1700. However, between my insurance and copay they accepted about $900. 

    Talk to hospital or facility you'll be having it before, and you might be able to agree on a price before you go in.

    My bill was nearly $2,000, but with self pay it was about $1,200. Hopefully yours will be a lot less:)

    I just  had one done and the bill is for $1700.  My insurance covers it though so they only paid about half of that. Big Smile

    If it's done in a hospital between $2000-$3000. I had mine done at a privately owned place where they only do radiology. I paid $475 total for mine.

    My ins. was billed about $2300 and paid about $1500

    My bill was just over $2,000. My insurance was charged $1,200. I paid a $100 co-pay.

    My doctor said to plan on it being around 1200 before we set it up as we knew it was OOP.  Just started getting back the bills/statements and so far its only added up to around $850.
