So we've moved on from diapers to birth/labor techniques and classes... Bradley and Hypnobirthing/babies are the styles we're looking at now. (I was surprised to see Lamaze "still" mentioned in the book I'm reading. I saw my aunt deliver with hee-hee-hoooo breathing 16 years ago... that's a whole 'nother story.)
I know it's a very personal decision since everyone will respond differently to those types of management techniques, but any input on what you thought about how helpful the classes and/or materials were or even the techniques themselves?
Re: Input on birth methods? Bradley vs. Hypno or others
There is a mom that just had her second baby with hypo, she posted her birth stories and is an open book for anyone that has questions.

We did a lot of research on Bradley. BUT, when push came to shove, DH couldn't handle the whole laboring process (it's a longish story). In saying that, I'd recommend thinking about a Doula or having a back-up person in case DH freaks.
After 2 babies born 2 different ways, I have finally convinced DH that he is, in fact, a wimp and needs some support too.
Heh, push came to shove? I am punny.

This exactly. And I made it through with no meds and no specialized techniques.
I did not have a doula, so DH was very busy my entire labor helping me to be more comfortable. I'm considering getting one (possibly my old Bradley instructor) for this time around but don't think it's absolutely necessary for a natural birth - just very nice.
If you don't do the Bradley classes, do consider reading the books, especially the one linked below. It really helps you understand the phases of labor and different techniques and exercises.
