Success after IF

Whew - Some days just kick my ass!

After the grocery store fiasco (see post below), DS was too agitated to nap.  Then DD woke up still in a horrible mood (teething) and proceeded to have a full nuclear meltdown in her high chair.  I had to quick clean her off and put her on my lap while DS then screamed because he was hungry and I stopped feeding him.  Then they alternated for a while because she screamed on my lap whenever I didn't give her complete attention and DS freaked when he wasn't getting fed.  Ugh.

I put her in a back carry so I could clean and dress him and she was not a fan.  Screamed and pulled my hair the entire time.  I dressed and dumped the poor boy in his crib and, thankfully he fell asleep.  I then decided to try feeding a bottle to the screaming maniac...oh, I mean Angela...because she didn't really eat much solids.  She did take the bottle and then gave me a nice hard time about taking her nap too.

FINALLY, they are both asleep.  I came back downstairs and it looks like a tornado came through here.  Is it too early in the day to start drinking?

Not at all...wish I had something good in the house!  My two have colds so someone was up at 10, 12, 1:30-3, 5, and 7 this morning, and since it was about 9:30 last night before I got everything finished mommy isn't very happy to start with.  Add on two fussy girls who decided to do opposite naps this afternoon and I can't wait until bedtime and hope the night goes better than last night!

  • Finally someone I can relate to!..ha..ha. Sorry, I'm not really laughing at your bad day, I'm really commisserating with you. Just about every dinner time goes like this with us. My husband and I are mentally and emotionally exhausted with these guys. They are the lights of our lives...but DAMN they are hard right now!
