I am 27 weeks pregnant with a girl and we are struggling with a name decision! The middle name will be Margaret after my late mother. Which of the following options do you like best? Are there any that are awful? Or, any other suggestions are welcome!
Evelyn Margaret
Tessa Margaret
Abigail Margaret
Sarah Margaret
Ella Margaret
Ellen Margaret
Annabelle Margaret
Aubrey Margaret
I like the name Evelyn but am turned off by its popularity these days. Not sure if that matters to you. Abigail is also popular but I don't like it as much.
I don't like Aubrey but I do like Audrey or Audra. I also don't like Ella but do like Ellen. I don't know why I don't like Tessa but I just don't like the sound of it.
I like Annabelle but it's pretty long paired with a long middle name.
I think my favorite is Sarah Margaret because it flows nicely and Sarah is a classic, beautiful but not very popular name these days.
You have lots of pretty names here and a nice way to honor your mom with Margaret! Good luck.
Sarah is my favorite when you take popularity into account.
You have a lot of great possibilities, but many of them are very popular. Ella Margaret is beautiful but there are so many Ella/Elle/Ellie's out there.
I love Annabel/Annabelle but it seems long with Margaret as a middle name, and obviously Margaret is the priority.
I also love Margaret nn Maggie for a first name, FWIW.
I'd eliminate Aubrey, I prefer it for a boy, but all the others are good options. I'm drawn to Tessa most, but would use Teresa Margaret with Tessa as her NN.
Evelyn Margaret -- not bad, especially if you're into the "little old lady" name thing. Tessa Margaret -- Love it. Abigail Margaret -- meh. Sarah Margaret -- nice, classic, but a bit boring. Ella Margaret -- check the SSA for your region. It seems like I know a zillion little Ellas. Ellen Margaret -- nice and classic like Sarah, but less boring, better nn potential. Annabelle Margaret -- a mouthful, but still a good name. Aubrey Margaret -- dislike Aubrey, which is traditionally a male name.
Re: Baby girl - what do you think?
id pass on Aubrey.
