What do you picture a farmer wearing? (for Halloween costume)

I'm trying to piece together a farmer costume for Law. Andersen's going to be a pig (got the Tom Arma costume for really cheap off craigslist). I'm thinking overalls and a straw hat or John Deere cap. What else?

Plaid flannel and work boots with overalls. And the straw hat. And I would assume the overalls would be dirty from working all day.
