Name Help?

Colin and I like the name Brennan for a boy (it's my maiden name).  Do you think that it would often be mispronounced as Brendan?

    I like it! Especially since it's your maiden name. If my maiden name would at all work for a first name, we'd use it.?

    You will probably have to correct people that you say it to. Hopefully people have enough sense to pronounce it correctly if written, though.

    Two of my friends have little boys named Brennan. They've never mentioned having a problem with it!

    MIL was a Brennan, and several of her sisters named their sons Brennan (makes for interesting family reunions). Anyway, none of them have ever had problems with their name. Well, except for the two cousins with the same name...

    it's cute and interesting and yes, easy to pronounce.

    Maybe some might, but it's a GREAT name and I love that it has such meaning! I wish I had a "first name" last name for our little man!
