I've been putting DDD's in a C cup...

Whoops- I knew I need some new bras but I hadn't found any that worked so I kept on trucking with my C-cup bras. SIL just brought me some brand new bras that don't work for her any more and they fit like a dream. Only they're DDD's. How on earth was I keeping these bad boys in check?!

    How indeed?!  I need C's, I know it by measurement and by the dark red lines on my boobs at the end of the day.  But I just bought these....  I am such a whiner about bra shopping.  It's such a crapshoot.

    I was amazed when I fit into an EE.  Holy cow.  I was still wearing my C cup when I went in and was fit into this new bra.  Wow!

    I've gone up one size w/ every pregnancy.  I was a C, then my daughter I was a D, then my son DD!  I haven't gotten a new bra yet but today I noticed I'm gonna need a new one.  Great, hear comes DDD!!!! Same size as my mom!  Sheesh!

    Oh, my! I thought it was bad going from an A cup to a D when I had DS and DD. Thank goodness it was only temporary; it was waay too uncomfortable. Glad you managed to get those bad boys corraled Stick out tongue

    It was terrifying when I started wearing my mom's hand-me downs!  They were brand new bras that she bought BEFORE she lost 85 lbs (they're too big for her now!!)... but I've been carrying pretty high, and my ribcage has grown about 6" ... cup has only gone up 1 size, but I've gone from a 34 (I used to measure at 32 but wore a 34) to a 38!

    I was wearing my Cs until I finally decided to go shopping. I knew I'd grown, just didn't know how much. I bought Fs. That was about a month ago, and they're already getting too small.

    My boobs have grown more than my belly has.

    Same here... I don't have a bump to speak of yet, just big knockers.
    Are F and DDD the same? I saw a sign at Motherhood that seemed to indicate that but I'm not certain... I haven't ever had to deal with anything this large before :)

    Wow y'all put me to shame:) I just bought 3 new bras today from VS-they were 40% off. I moved from a C to a D. Thankfully I am still a 36...I wonder if I will go up even more? I was hoping to not buy anymore until I actually get the maternity bras!

    As far as I know, DD and DDD are between D and E, but I'm not exactly sure how that works.

    I'm in the same boat and I don't want to spend a ton of money on a new one so I can only wear for a month or so before I need a bigger one. Currently a DD gotta get measured to see what's going on.  Any suggestions on where to go we have a Macy's, JC Penney's, Khols, and Sears (icky)

    I was doing the same I was wearing a 34C and busting out I went and got fitted I am now a 34E almost an F but I couldnt go there..I am small framed and I look like I have huge implants..crazyy..

    I am wearing C's and need DD's.  :(

    Has anyone found a comfy bra?  Seems like everything I find in DD is uncomfortable and/or ugly!

    I think Motherhood's bra sizes are weird. When nursing DD I was in an E cup in their bras, but a DD in the Target brand nursing bras....

    Yes an F and a DDD are the same thing. That's what I was wearing pre-prePG.

    I actually started at 34G... I am not measuring 36H. Up a back size AND a cup size UGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! Tongue Tied

    I just had to go up to a 34DD from a 34C.  I bought the Victoria's Secret new (reworked?) Body Full Coverage Bra, and it is amazing.  I had poo-pood VS for awhile but the quality and fit seem to have really improved.  This thing is amazing, so I really hope I don't get much larger (they don't go higher than DD I believe).

    Lane Bryant and The Avenue have a GREAT selection of bras in bigger sizes.  I think Hanes does too, but for some reason their bras run a little smaller in the cup.
