Stinky trash can?

I've tried vinegar, EOs, letting it dry out in the sun, even broke down and tried a bleach solution...my kitchen trash can just constantly reeks.  Any ideas?

    I would squirt it down with lemon juice, sprinkle on some baking soda, set it out in the sun to dry, and then rinse really well.

    Do you put food in it? 

    We don't put food in ours.  We put all food in the freezer (we use the bottom drawer) until trash day.  I don't know if that might help :

    Weirdly, we don't put that much food in it - we compost everything fruit and vegetable...unfortunately that does mean that the trash is nothing but meat bones and meat packaging, which does not hold up well in the stinky department...

    I'll try the lemon juice...  Thanks!
