First day back to work comments

I had a D&C 2 weeks ago. I was 23 weeks along. Today was my first day back to work. I was really nervous about going back. I work with 100 people ? mostly men. I think I only work with 10 women. I was worried about what they would say, whether or not I would be able to fight back tears, etc. So I thought I?d share the range of comments that I got.

I realized that nobody was out to hurt or offend me, but everyone has a different feeling about what is appropriate. Most of the people either said a simple I?m sorry or said it was good to have me back. Some said nothing ? I think they didn?t know what to say. Many shared that their wives had had mc?s and that they understood. One woman I worked with shared that another co-worker who I am friendly with was looking online to see when I could ttc again. He?s a very sweet person, but it was a bit odd. She shared with me his findings (I?m thinking ? thanks, I?ll just go w/ what my doc said!). I also got a few random questions by people who I think were surprised to see me and blurted out something that they are probably regretting now like ? wow, so how are you feeling physically? Or ? so is everything back to normal? I wanted to tell them that the bleeding has almost stopped and that I?m down to a pantiliner, but decided that was tmi
