so i usually just lurk on the bump, but am now 36w4d pg w/ a boy and we still don't have a name! my dh loves the name jett- he has been using it since before we found out it is a boy. i don't really have a problem with jett except for the fact that dh is a pilot- i don't want lo to feel pressured into aviation or feel like he has to avoid it like the plague. i agreed it can/will be the middle name and dh is planning on using this anyways.
what do you think about the name jett considering his father is a pilot?
we both like alexander. there are several that i like that he doesn't (such as owen, brody, and dylan) and he likes robert (which i don't) and benjamin (i have no real problem except for the song benny and the jets). please help!
Re: Need help with a boy name!
Jett is NMS but I don't think it's a bad name. I actually had a student named Jett (who was so stinkin' adorable! Kindergartner) and so I don't associate it w/ planes/flying.. A few people might initially think that if your husband is a pilot, but they'll get over it
I don't think it's a big deal at all.
2 of my absolutely favorite boy names are Alexander and Benjamin. So those would get my votes!

I've heard of Jett used a few times lately (sadly, I think the Travolta family tragedy made it more well known). ?
I like Alexander Jett a lot.?
