Julie and Julia

DH and I saw it and went to dinner.  Was good to get my mind off of my BFN (until I saw pg couple and husband was rubbing wife's belly)

Anyway, I thought they addressed Julia Child's saddness at not being able to have a child very well.  I admit I cried.

I loved this movie.  If you haven't yet go see it!

    It's really not a girlie kind of movie.  It's biographical.  He may enjoy it.  And there are a lot of good laughs.

    I've been wanting to see it. I'll have to gather up so girls to go see it with me. Sorry about you BFN. Your chart is driving me crazy, I can't imagine how you feel. I hope you get good news soon!

    Knife work is action! I don't think that would work for my DH, though.

    I HATE action movies!!  DH and I usually switch off.  Last time he chose Harry Potter so this time I got to chose.  Next time I'll probably get stuck watching District 9.

    There was a preview for a new John Cusack action movie about the Apocolypse coming out.  Now that I want to see! It's called 2012.

    I heard some ladies on the board saying that District 9 was good. And I also want to see 2012. I think it will be really good.

    Just wanted to say that I loved the move & cried too.

     

    DH went with me & even though he has never gone to a chick flick before, he loved it too.
