I've only recently embarked on the TTTC journey..to start I had to ask for a day off for our first RE appointment on the 7th, then just had my dye test done friday(another day off)..and literally every male at my office seems to think it's totally appropriate to ask why i was gone, and what i was gone for...these are people at work who have NO business asking where i was and what i was doing.. it's really irritating!! so one person says, "oh, heard you had a doctor's appointment, that's why you were gone.. what was it for??" can you believe these people??!! so i said " no appointment, just had the day off"..to which he replied "oh, that's not what, so-and-so said.." so-and-so is the other doctor that had to fill in for me on friday..
the truley annoying thing part, is that I have to fill out a form to take a day off. and i had to ask for the day off for friday on that monday, so I had to explain that I had a medical procedure to do..this info went to the scheduling person, who then had to get the other doc to fill in for me, and she apparently found it necessary to tell him my business!!
WTF!!
Re: fielding ridic questions frm coworkers..wtf..
sounds like there's no HIPPA going on in your office....
sorry that happened. That sucks.
"Smudge's Story - How to Grow a Dandelion" will return soon!
The Dandelion Archive
"If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn."
For some reason people seem to think they can ask, and discuss, personal information and lay their lives out to the world. I blame it on Facebook
I guess you're just going to have to come up with a standard response like, "I had a dr's appointment, and it's personal."
