I love Chipotle

So, last night I emailed Chipotle. Why? I don't know. I merely wanted to suggest that they add queso to their menu. I'm not really a salsa kind of girl.

I found this in my inbox this morning:

Thanks for all the love. And, we appreciate your suggestion, but alas, queso is not our kind of food for a number of reasons. The most important part though is that in order to keep cheese at a semi-liquid state for queso dip, you need to add chemical stabilizers that prevent it from becoming too runny and also prevent it from becoming too thick. Many places also kick in artificial colors (why not?) to make it look like real cheese too (it's not, although there are sometimes "real cheeses" in it).

Chipotle is right on up there with Baby Gap IMO...way too expensive, but way too good to give up! I was really upset when I figured out that I could order one chicken, one steak, and one pork taco as opposed to three of all one kind...how dare they come up with a new way for me to enjoy their food!!! Angry

I would never go to Chipotle again based on that statement alone. Queso is the soup of the Gods.

Chipotle is right on up there with Baby Gap IMO...way too expensive, but way too good to give up! I was really upset when I figured out that I could order one chicken, one steak, and one pork taco as opposed to three of all one kind...how dare they come up with a new way for me to enjoy their food!!!

Surprise You can do that?? You mean, no more having to decide??

But then there's the dilemma of wanting rice. Their rice is so yummy. I could get it on the side I suppose....

I have never had Chipotle, but I see it talked about on here quite a bit. . .which makes me kinda wish we had one.

Mmmmm...Chipotle! Yes, you can mix your 3 tacos with different meats. I usually get 2 shredded beef and 1 steak. Now I want some Chipotle. My favorite end of the year gift one of my students got me was a Chipotle gift card.
