We are definitely finding out. But we are going to do the envelope/cake thing. We will be moving shortly after the big u/s and that will be my enticement to come help a big fat pregnant lady move, finding out the sex at the same time we do!
We are finding out and are going to try to keep it a secret, cause DH's family doesnt want to know. We are also keeping our names a secret too. Cause we have some baby name stealers around us. One name was already stolen.
QOTD: If you are finding out the gender, will you be sharing the results with your friends & famiy? And will you be announcing the name? If you are team green, will you be sharing your name ideas before baby is born?
We are finding out the sex and telling family and friends. As of right now we don't plan on sharing the name until our LO arrives.

We're team green. We did share our name choices with people, though. I just think it's fun to talk about! And I can't keep a secret, either, so I had to tell people when we thought of them!

Congrats on another little girl! And I love the name!
We are finding out on the 4th the gender and we already have names picked out going into it- so once we know the gender we can tell everyone the name and gender at the same time! Then we can start calling my belly a name! Yay!

We are finding out, I didn't really want to but DH is so excited to find out so I warmed up to the idea. We will tell our friends & family the sex but will not be sharing names with anyone before the birth.
We will tell the gender, but wait to tell the name.
Which DH is almost agreeing with me on the philosophy of waiting until I deliver to find out the gender. He said we'll have waited 20 weeks, what's another 20 weeks?
We are definitely finding out the sex. My appointment in Sept 2! We've always just called friends and family to announce what we're having...I want to do something a little different this time. I'm thinking about scanning the picture when I get home and putting whether it's a boy or a girl on it and then sending it via email/text message to everyone. I want every one to get to see the sono pic.
And I am unsure about telling our name...well, we don't even have a name picked out at this point so it doesn't matter. I am guessing that it is going to take us some time to settle on a name this time around. But we will have it set in stone in time for the baby shower in November.
I know too many pregnant mamas right now to not announce what name we've chosen...3 of them are due around the time that I am. No one wants to step on toes and use "someone else's" name. But I'll be the first of us to be finding out the sex.
We are team green, so no on gender. And NO WAY on names. I want to be able to choose from our top couple/few for each sex when we see the child. That said, we do have middle names pretty set for each sex and are trying to make all our first names mesh with those. We plan on trying to select a somewhat unique name too and don't want ANY feedback.
Now I want to know what all the unique names are...that should be the next question for people willing to share!!!
We are finding out the sex, but plan on keeping the name a secret. We don't want to hear from everyone their opinions of our names we've chosen. Being a teacher is hard enough to think of names that don't remind me of a particular kid that was a problem. We have decided to not even share our ideas too. Everyone will just have to wait. :-)
We plan on telling people the gender when we find out and names we picked out. The names we have picked are:
for a girl: Lily Mae
for a boy: Riley Thomas
The only condition we have on telling the sex is that my dad finds out first. He's in Afghanistan right now and isn't going to be here when we find out, so we decided that he will find out first and then we will tell everyone else. That way he doesn't feel left out, since I know how hard it is for him to be over there while all the baby madness is going on.
We are finding out the sex and will share it with everyone. However, I think we'll keep the name a secret. I'm not too keen on people giving their opinions on that type of thing, so I think we'll keep it a surprise.
how wonderful breezie!! congratulations!! how exciting!!
I cant WAIT to know... I still have about 7 weeks til I find out! when I do im pretty sure I will be calling pretty much everyone as we leave the dr office!
we WILL be keeping the name a secret. i may even keep the OTHER name a secret -like the if it was a boy/girl it would have been... in case I want to use it later!
Hi Everyone. New here. DH and I have been TTC for over a year (had 5 m/c), this one is sticking! We live in NH, and are both pharmacist..?
?QOTD: We are members of Team Green. I really want for Derick and I to have a moment where only we know the sex and to really enjoy the moment. We also will not be sharing names with family and friends because 1. I hate we people frown at our name choices and 2. I don't like when people start to refer to the baby before it is born. A combination of not wanting to get sick of the name and not wanting to jinx anything.?

Yes, we plan to find out and to tell all! We will be too excited to keep it a secret. Congrats on the girl!
