I just googled halloween cupcakes when I was finding my cupcakes for francisca. They do look good though. I have been thinking about making them but would have to find black icing somewhere.
::butting in:: You can color chocolate frosting with black food coloring to make it black.
always thinking. I haven't seen black food colouring though. I never looked hard for it but all I remember seeing is the little 4 packs of yellow, red, blue and green.
Ooh, fun! I haven't taken a Wilton class since I was a kid, but I loved it then. I took a fondant class at our local cooking store (which has since closed, but it was because the owner retired, not because it went under) and that was so much fun. I wish our college offered a pastry program, they just have culinary arts, but I'm going to go to school (starts Monday!) for culinary arts! Yay!
Full time. Career change, since I can't find work since being laid off (I was one of dozens). My DH also got laid off (he was one of thousands) and is going back to school full time, as well.
Well, what I really like doing are cakes, big cakes. . .but I'm not sure whether that will be my entire focus or not, in the end. I'm still deciding.
The hubs is going for Network Administration. . .which means not much to me, something to do with computers. He actually gets his schooling paid for by the government (tuition, books, etc.), since he lost his job due to outsourcing overseas.
Re: Brookie!!
Yes, thank you fellow Missourian! It's Brookie-Cookie!!

Can you get the Wilton icing food coloring in Canada, the little gel tubs? They have black.
probably. I know Michaels has a tonne of Wilton stuff and they offer the cake decorating classes there (which I am going to take, I recently decided).
