am I leaking amnio?? (maybe tmi)

in 3rd Trimester
I woke up this morning & my underwear was wet but wasnt discharge, it was all clear. I got up and changed and now can feel a little more wetness. It seems different then discharge though. I put a pantliner on to see it better, is there anything else I should do? How would I know & when would I call the dr.? TIA!

    put on a new panty liner, lay down for 30 minutes. 10 minutes on your left side, 10 minutes on your right side, 10 minutes on your back and then get up and walk around. See if any comes out. If you are concerned then call the doc, they will ask questions and there's a test they can do to see if it's fluid or just discharge :).

    I was told if it runs down your leg or soaks a pad, to call the doctor.  They also said to lay on your back for awhile and then stand up.  If you feel a gush when you stand up, it could be fluid.

    Amniotic fluid smells different than urine does.. it smells sweeter. ?Do you feel like you're still kind of trickling? ?

    If it doesn't really smell like urine and still feels like you're leaking..I'd call. Better safe :) ?

    I'd call the Dr. Better to be safe. They can test the fluid.

    thanks ladies, ill give that a try and then call. Its really minimal right now so it might be enough for them to actually test if i do the 30 min thing. Ill keep ya posted!

    When my water broke with DS (it was really a slow leak) I remember sitting on the toliet to pee and just feeling water leak out. I knew it was my water and not pee because it felt different. I would call your doctor just to be sure.

    I get a lot of discharge when I wake up in the morning, sometimes it's totally clear and other times it's kind of milky white, but it's always really watery and always a good amount of it. Of course I freaked the first time this happened, but they tested it and it wasn't amnio fluid. It doesn't smell like anything, either.

    So I guess what I'm saying is, you could just be a freak like me (haha)...but PPs are right, you should probably get checked just to be on the safe side.?
