I work in a very small office - less than ten here. The very often spoken rule about the coffee is this - if you take the last of the coffee, MAKE SOME MORE!! Now, I can understand if you get your coffee and are just not sure if there's enough left in the carafe for another cup for the next person. I can handle getting just a half cup, or 3/4ths of a cup of hot coffee. But if there's so little coffee left in the carafe on the warmer - and you feel you should turn the warmer off so as not to burn the little remaining coffee... That means there's not enough for the next person. So just make another pot!!!! :-( I hate going to get coffee in the mornings only to find an empty pot sitting there. I need my coffee, dammit.

    you should totally go by that person's desk (or work area, or whatever your work set up is), and do this:

    ugh!!  that kind of stuff infuriates me!  my co-irker likes to use all the sugar except for maybe two little granules and then says "oh, I thought there was a still a little left, oops"  grr...
