Middle Name Help

Our top choices for our little girl are Ziva (after my Great Grandmother) and Talia (after his Grandmother Tova-taken by his neice). We are stuck on a middle name. It seems that every name we like ends with/begins with an a. We have begun to look into names we don't like as much (Rachel, Rebekah) so that it flows better. What do you think, some of our combos are:

Ziva Adi (ah dee)

Talia Adi

Ziva Chana (kah nah)

Talia Chana

Ziva Chaya (hah yah- the first part is between a "hi" and a "kai")

Talia Chaya

Re: Middle Name Help

  • I like Chaya as a middle name the best.  Are you Jewish?  I have quite a few Jewish friends with girls names Talia, but I've never met a Ziva...not sure if that matters to you, just thought I'd mention it in case you're wondering about pronunciation difficulties, etc.  I assume it's pronounced liked Zima the beverage...I would pronounce Adi ADD-ee myself, but I guess middle names are really only used when you're screaming at them for something, so as long as you know how to say it...Stick out tongue

  • Yes we are Jewish and most of our family lives in Israel, hence the super hebrew names. I'm not so worried about people being able to pronounce the middle name (like you said we will be the ones using it most often),  we are more concerned the flow.
  • I like Talia.  I was going to say Talia Rose, but then I saw your name, heh.  I'm not familiar with Hebrew names, but I just Googled and Talia Madelyn sounds alright. Of what you listed, I like Talia Chana.
  • Talia Adi...or Talia Rose ;o)
