We're at the hospital

Cora has an infection in her right lung. We went to the ER Tues night because she was having some problems breathing. They did a chest x-ray and checked her out, said everything was fine and sent us home. Yesterday her dr called and said the radiologist read the x-ray wrong and there was something in her right lung so she was admitted to the hospital. They don't exactly know what is wrong and what is causing it which is frustrating, They started her on an antibiotic yesterday and have been doing lung treatment every 4 hours. They did a chest x-ray today and it looked better so we're staying another night for more treatment. Hopefully things will clear up and we can go home tomorrow. Seeing my little girl here getting poked and not knowing what is wrong is the hardest thing, Please keep us in your prayers and I will keep you posted.

Good luck! I am glad that they caught the infection on the x-ray. She is in the best place to get better, good job getting her there when she needed it. I hope she feels better soon!

lots of good thoughts! hadley was admitted to the hospital around the same age for a mysterious infection and it was really scary, but they took great care of her (and me). i'm glad that you are getting her the treatment she needs and hope you'll both be home soon.

Oh sweetie, how frustrating and scary. I hope tonight goes smoothly and you are able to go home soon, with the confidence that Cora is truly feeling better and on the road to recovery:)
