Lightweight stroller

Anyone has recommendation on lighweight stroller? We are looking for a full recline, padded, lightweight, easily fold since we'll be using it for overseas travel. Although I love the Mclaren Quest, but it's just too expensive for umbrella stroller. Our price range is less than $150. Any recommendations?? Thanks!

This is what we have. It is $150. There are other colors of course, but the gender neutral/boy colors (read: not bright pink) are more than that.

It does not recline, but it has a deep seat, and that hasn't seemed to bother Lili at all. She sleeps just fine in it. It comes with a carrying case, rain cover and sun canopy. There is a small basket where I am able to fit a small/medium sized diaper bag underneath. It steers like a dream - I can use one pinky to steer it. It folds up very compactly, enough so that it can fit in the overhead of an airplane or underneath a bus seat. It weighs 13 pounds. I feel it is very lightweight and is a fabulous stroller.

It has a padded five point harness, a simple yet very effective braking system, and is just overall a very nice looking stroller.

  • not sure if you looked at the chicco l/w stroller that is around $70 but do not buy it!  you will kick the wheels as you walk all the time.  just my .02!
  • I love my Baby Jogger City Mini - but that is over your price range.  They just came out with a City Micro - I don't know how much it reclines though - I am hesitant to say that it might only recline slightly.  Check it out tho.

Editing to add that the City Micro is $159 I think.

  • I disagree about the Chicco C6. I have it and like it. I don't kick the wheels.

I'm interested in Britax's new Blink stroller. It's priced around $150.

Also on my list of interest: Chicco Liteway (I can't find anyone who owns it to give me a review!), Graco Ipo, and UppaBaby G-Luxe.

I have a Combi Cosmo EX - full recline, 5 point harness. You'll need a small diaper bag though as the basket is small, but it folds really well (I've been practicing :) and has a shoulder strap.. I think it was around $100 at BRU.

  • have you looked a used Maclaren?  Craigslist, ebay, and even Amazon has them sometimes.

I also bought a Maclaren on ebay - brand new for about half the price.  There are sellers on there that have them in the box brand new - they're just last year's models.

  • We got our Maclaren Quest on Ebay. I can't remember exactly what we paid but I think it was around $150. It came in the box, brand new, no problems at all. The seller was called Maxoty and had a very high approval rating. I heard that a lot of baby gear stores sell items online when they need to clear out merch.
