he fed himself some applesauce. it was messy I gave him a little cottage cheese and some cheerios too. He is really in to feeding himself right now. Yesterday I gave him a (whole wheat) waffle and put some fruit spread on it. He used his fork and ate it all up (AW).
This morning he had a smoothie and cheerios. Other mornings he'll have wheat waffles, blueberry muffin tops (yum) or french toast waffles (again, yum).
When he's teething I'll give him an unsliced plain bagel. He loves it! It makes for a great teething ring.
Scrambled eggs and a piece of whole wheat toast with a little butter. He's getting pretty good at feeding himself with a fork now and scrambled eggs are really easy for him to pick up.
3 eggo mini's, 2 bites of peaches and cream oatmeal (blueberry is fer fav, she'll eat a whole packet!) and about 4 strawberries and a quarter cup of milk.

A whole wheat bescuit (it was homemade so it was pretty big) and a BUNCH of cantelope. I bet she ate over 1/2 of a cantelope!! It was insane! Oh, and some milk.
1/2 a banana, a couple bites of raisin toast with cream cheese, a few bites of my crustless quiche (chorizo, cheese, and onion) and half a pickle. He diet is different like mine.
Man, you guys have good eaters. My DD picks at breakfast...she'd never eat a whole waffle (only ever has 2 or 3 bites). She detests eggs. Refuses oatmeal. Bagels and toast NEVER happen.
Today she had a few bites of watermelon, a handful of blueberries, maybe 2 oz of milk, and a couple handfuls of cheerios. And that was a "good" breakfast for her. sigh.
Someone mentioned a bagelful yesterday so i went out and bouht the. DD really liked it. It's a whole wheat bagel (looks like a stick) with cream cheese in the middle

we give her oatmeal with fruit every. single. day. i'm surprised she hasn't revolted.
I love this. This is what my DD ends up eating for breakfast most mornings too, but she's learning to feed herself with the spoon (she can already grab it from me if I scoop, but she needs to learn that too), and because the oatmeal is thicker it's less messy than yogurt or applesauce so we've been going with that

Re: What did your LO have for breakfast today?
yo baby and whole grain blueberry waffle
Earth's best fruit bar, cheerios and pears.
This morning he had a smoothie and cheerios. Other mornings he'll have wheat waffles, blueberry muffin tops (yum) or french toast waffles (again, yum).
When he's teething I'll give him an unsliced plain bagel. He loves it! It makes for a great teething ring.
Banana and a Blueberry waffle
Sometimes she has pancakes and a diff. fruit like watermelon.
DD had 1/4 of wheat bagel and banana and milk today. I'm no help!
Other breakfast meals:
cottage cheese with pineapple or mandarin oranges
oatmeal, raisins
waffle with yobaby smeared on top
toast with jelly and cream cheese
eggs are always a HUGE hit!
Strawberries and a waffle. She didn't really eat much of those though so I also gave her some yogurt.
A whole wheat bescuit (it was homemade so it was pretty big) and a BUNCH of cantelope. I bet she ate over 1/2 of a cantelope!! It was insane! Oh, and some milk.

What he ate or what I gave him?
On his tray: cheerios, toast w/applesauce as the "jam", grapes, and yogurt. He mostly just ate the grapes. He's into fruit this week.
Um, he had 1/2 a banana and 1/2 a mini whole wheat bagel. True story.
Yesterday, he had a flaxseed waffle and some blueberries. Both days, these were accompanied w/ milk.
Sometimes I get ambitious and make him pancakes. Depends on if I think he'll sit still long enough in his high chair or not while I cook them.
I didn't read the other responses.....but what about oatmeal? Grits? Cream of wheat?
DH went grocery shopping this morning and apparently all 3 of my boys had a feast, while mommy got stuck eating poptarts at work.
They had pancakes, bacon and apple cinnaomn toast.
Some other ideas: oatmeal, yogurt & fruit, blueberry waffles, eggs, cinnamon raisin toast, muffins
we give her oatmeal with fruit every. single. day. i'm surprised she hasn't revolted.
i love this post. i never even thought about giving her waffles at home. duh... she won't eat yogurt so that's out, but bagels could work too.
Mama Jan's Kitchen... a food blog
Trader Joes 4 oz Blueberry yogurt, pears, and milk
Then she grazed on chedder goldfish most of the morning.
