NBR: Silpada or Lia Sophia Jewelry

Has anyone hosted or gone to a party before?  I seriously have a lack of jewelry and was thinking of having one of these parties, but not sure which one.  Any preferences of one over the other?

    My BF does the Silpada stuff.  I've always liked it, but I've never seen the other jewelry.

    IMO:

    Lia Sophia is junk.

    Silpada is pretty good, but imo, if i'm going to pay that much money for "Tiffany quality" jewelry, i'll just spend the money at Tiffany.

    One of my friends sells Lia Sophia and I've gone to a couple of her parties...she keeps trying to get me to host one but I hate throwing these kind of parties.    

    I like Lia Sophia.    I do know that as a hostess you get a lot of stuff.   I know she had one hostess that had a 3k show so she got a TON of free stuff.

    I hosted a Lia Sophia party back in June and I got a ton of free stuff and I didn't even have a big party.  It is kinda pricey, but they have items of all ranges to buy.  I am happy with all my free stuff and get lots of compliments on it.

    I sell Silpada and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Plus, the new catalog just came out and it has tons of gorgeous jewelry in it. As a hostess you can earn up to 30% of your gross sales in free jewelry. If you have a party with 10 purchasing customers and they buy a total of $1,000 you get $300 in free jewelry!!

    I got a rash from the two Lia Sophia items I own.  The stuff is pretty, but I can't wear it anymore.
