We've been exposed to swine flu

What fun.  DH's co-worker who also attends our church has been diagnosed with swine flu.  Of course, this is the first week DD has allowed him to hold her at church.  I've been really stuffy the past few days but have attributed it to the pregnancy.  DH gets this news at work this morning.  We all have appointments this afternoon.  DH is totally paranoid, especially with a baby and a pregnant wife.  I'm trying to not think about it, but you can see how well that's going :)

The really bad thing, we've had house guests all week who are getting married on Saturday and then going on a European cruise - please don't let them get sick...

    DS and I were exposed to swine flu at, of all things, a baby shower in early June. The guest of honor, 5 months pregnant at the time, ended up with it.  We managed not to get it.  Keeping fingers crossed for you. fwiw, All involved in our little swine flu outbreak, including the mom-to-be, are doing just fine!  :)

    Did you call your OB since you're pregnant? I've suddenly become over paranoid about the swine flue with my 8y/o going back to school.

    I am a freakish mess and worry about getting it and my unborn getting really sick or not making it... I am sure my concerns aren't really warrented. I am not trying to freak you out, but this is my worst nitemare right now.

    I'm thinking that if we do have it, it is still early enough that we're going to be fine.  DD seems very fine, though she has sneezed more often this morning.  I'm trying to be very hopeful. 

    I'm glad you and DS avoided it!  I'm hoping we did the same :)

    Oh, no! How scary. But like you said, you were exposed to it early so you guys will be fine I'm sure. It's so weird it's in our city. I know some OSU kids had it first here, and now it's going around.

    I actually have an appt. tomorrow anyway, so I didn't call.  Thank you for the advice though!  This is why DH is driving himself batty!

    hopefully you're just noticing more this morning. i couldn't tell you how often ds sneezes on a regular morning, but i bet if i was worried suddenly i'd start paying a lot more attention. fingers crossed for you.
