Prometrium to induce AF

Hey Ladies,

Just picked up a prescription for prometrium to induce AF since I didn't seem to ovulate this cycle, but the phamacists said that they weren't told whether it was supposed to be taken orally or vaginally.  By the time I picked it up, my RE's office was closed, so I couldn't call to ask.  Any ideas on which way is correct?  When I talked to the nurse at the RE earlier, she just said to take it at night, which I would assume to mean vaginally?

    Prometrium is an oral medication. RE use it vaginally from time to time in pregnancy to supplement progesterone. I have taken prometrium to bring on AF and i took it orally. They say to take it a night because it will make you tired. So, I would take it orally today and call doc in morning to verify.

    It can be taken both ways.  Most likely they wanted you to take it orally.  However, I would have the Dr. paged.
