Ok-so I decided yesterday to try giving DS his sweet potatoes right from the fridge (they were frozen, thawed in fridge) and he ate them, no problem.
Maybe a dumb question - but is there anything wrong with this? My thinking is that it would be a heck of a lot easier on the road/out and about to just take a frozen cube of baby food and let it thaw in the cooler and not have to worry about warming it up. I know that heating up the foods too much causes them to lose nutritional value...but not sure if NOT heating them up hinders it? (I told you it might be a dumb question! LOL)
Anyone else do this?
Re: Cold baby food?
Awesome-thanks ladies!
I hope he continues to eat them cold. I'll mix it up though so he's good either way. It would just make it a lot more convenient to not have to have a stove around to heat up his food on the go.
