I want a gilder with a white slipcover but have only found one at Pottery Barn and Serena and Lily. I am wondering if anyone found one elseware that I should look at before ordering.

Sorry, can't help with the slipcover, but I just had to say that is quite possibly the sweetest furbaby pic I have seen. S/He is obviously very well trained. I can't imagine my Golden sitting still enough for a pic w/ all those yummies around her.

You should check at local furniture stores. We got an upholstered armchair/rocker/glider. We happened to find one on sale "as is" with fabric that seems like it was made specifically with our room in mind but we were planning to choose a fabric to have it covered with. Our local store has, literally, thousands of fabric choices.
We need to get a slipcovered glider because of the dogs (the other is a Bernese Mt. Dog). They shed like crazy and like to sleep against furniture so everything gets dirty quickly. I can't imagine having something that I can't throw in the washing machine...

I don't know if this will really help you or not. But we got our glider at a consignment store for only $65 and then I took the curtain fabric that went/matched our bedding set and I made my own slip covers to coordinate with our room perfectly. I made covers for all of the padding so that when I took the slip covers off the pads would still be protected, but I bought the cheapest fabric possible for that. Then all it took was an extra set of curtains, some coordinating ribbon, zippers and some time. Towards the end of getting it done though I decided to throw in an extra something to 2 of the covers I was making, but the covers would have worked just fine before I added the extra something.
Here are the pictures of the finished product. (The fabric was originally a jewel toned Noah's Ark pattern)
I added the square to the back cushion and the ottoman last minute.
Re: anyone getting a slipcovered glider?
Thanks, that's Jack and he is my first baby
